EYFS

The Early Years Foundation Stage is a legal framework that all childcare practitioners have to follow. It states seven areas of development which are:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Physical Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

We make observations of the children which then informs our weekly planning. We then record as the children progress and share this information with parents termly.

We now implement the revised Early Years Foundation Stage.
